Vanessa Wood founded WAXBARE after years working for a large waxing chain. Passionate about her work but seeking stability, she opened her own salon in Elk Grove, California in 2014.
As she built her business, Vanessa noticed a problem: the waxes available were inconsistent, expensive, and often underperforming.
In 2016, she partnered with one of the world's leading wax manufacturers to create her first proprietary formula, Coral. Designed for precision, comfort, and consistency, it quickly became clear that other estheticians wanted the same solution.
Today, WAXBARE is trusted nationwide. What began as a way to improve a single salon has grown into a brand recognized for quality, innovation, and supporting professionals at every stage of their business.
