FAQ

Q: What is the Waxbare Certification Program?

A: The Waxbare Certification Program is a professional education pathway for estheticians and cosmetologists who want to master the Waxbare Method. Each specialty is taught through a hands-on Certification Class (Brazilian, Face & Brow, and Body). When you complete and pass a class, you become officially Waxbare Certified in that specialty.

After earning all three certifications, you may apply to join our exclusive Trainer Program — available only to approved graduates who have demonstrated excellence. Trainer Certification allows you to represent and teach the Waxbare Method at the highest level.

Dates for additional Certification Classes will be announced soon — starting with the Brazilian Certification Class on November 2–3, 2025.

Q: What is the first class being offered?

A: The Brazilian Wax Certification Class, happening November 2-3 in Elk Grove/Sacramento, CA area.  This is our founding class, seats are limited.

Q: Who can join?

A: Licensed estheticians, cosmetologists, and students currently enrolled in accredited programs. (If you’re not licensed yet, you can still join the list and be notified when student-focused trainings open.)

Q: What’s the difference between a class and a certification?

A: Each Certification Class is a 1–2 day training where you’ll learn and practice specific skills. When you complete it successfully, you receive a Waxbare Certification for that area of expertise.

Q: What about the Trainer Certification?

A:Trainer Certification is only available after you complete Brazilian, Face & Brow, and Body Certifications. This ensures every Waxbare Trainer has mastered the full method before teaching others..

Q: Will I get a certificate?

A: Students who complete the 2-day training and demonstrate proper technique on a live model will receive their official Waxbare Brazilian Certification at the end of class.

If a student needs more practice before certification, we’ll provide guidance and allow them to schedule a follow-up assessment (in person or by video submission) within a few weeks. Once they demonstrate the technique correctly, they will receive their certificate.

Q: Where will the class be held?

A: Sacramento area (TBD)

Q: How many days and hours is the class?

A: The class is  2 days (November 2–3, 2025), 4 - 6 hours each day. This format allows for hands-on practice without being overwhelming.

A: Early-bird enrollment is $1,500 (if reserved before October 10, 2025). Standard enrollment is $1,700.

Q: Do you provide models?

A: Yes, models are provided for the training so every student can practice live techniques. If you’d like to bring your own model, please let us know in advance.
